For buyers in Pakistan, the local price can also be affected by taxes, PTA approval, exchange rates and market conditions. This is why I would not rely too heavily on unofficial prices shared before launch.

It will make more sense to compare prices once Apple officially announces the phone.

Should You Wait?

If you already have a recent Pro Max model and it is working perfectly, I don’t think you need to rush into an upgrade.

But if you are using an older iPhone and were already planning to upgrade in 2026, waiting for the iPhone 18 Pro Max could be a smart choice.

By then, we will know the real camera performance, battery life, specifications and price. You will also be able to compare it with the latest Samsung and Google flagship phones.

My Final Thoughts

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is still an upcoming phone, so there are many things we simply don’t know yet.

Personally, I am most interested in the camera, battery efficiency, processor and design. I don’t think Apple needs to make the phone faster just for the sake of numbers. The improvements should be things that users can actually notice.

If Apple delivers meaningful upgrades in these areas, the iPhone 18 Pro Max could become one of the most interesting flagship smartphones of 2026.

For now, I would simply wait for the official announcement rather than making a decision based only on leaks.
